About

Minji Park is a paper artist whose work invites viewers to engage with the world through touch, play, and quiet reflection. Her practice focuses on storytelling through tactile forms—ranging from intricate paper collages and sculptural paper works to printed ephemera and artist books.

Rooted in a deep fascination with the materiality of paper, Minji’s work blurs the boundaries between the tangible and the conceptual. She folds, cuts, prints, and binds various papers to reimagine everyday routines and moments of care as sensory experiences. Through color, texture, and spatial arrangement, she creates emotionally resonant works that counteract the detachment of the digital age.

Minji earned her MFA in Visual Communication Design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she specialized in paper-based practices including letterpress printing, bookbinding, and box making. She was awarded the New Artist Society Scholarship in recognition of her work.
